The last day, with the return trip to Schiphol. After breakfast, Svein drives us for the final time. He takes us to Gardermoen Airport. After checking in, we still have time to reclaim the VAT on the coat at customs. I also write the last postcards, which will be mailed in the Netherlands—much more convenient that way. The flight goes smoothly and lands on time at Schiphol. At customs, the baggage is inspected. The customs officer only raises an objection because I cannot prove that the camera was purchased in the Netherlands. He advises me to carry a copy of the purchase receipt in the future. Adri is already waiting at the arrivals hall and takes us home.
